Pets can be licensed at Animal Control, City Hall or participating veterinarian offices*. City Hall is located at 220 SE Green Street. A valid rabies certificate and proof of pet sterilization (if applicable) are required. A lifetime license can be purchased if the animal is microchipped. Lifetime licenses are only available at the Animal Shelter and City Hall.
*The following veterinarians provide pet licenses in their offices for an additional $3 convenience fee: Lee's Summit Animal Hospital, Lee's Summit North Animal Hospital, Cedar Creek Veterinary Hospital and Raintree Animal Health Center.
